Understanding your purpose and your path is a personal AND a collective experience. There is so much more going on than “what do I want and how do I get there.” And, so we often get caught off-guard and wonder what the heck just happened. Such an experience may just manifest for you and our World this week… and that’s why I’m writing this article now about navigating the current transits.
Every part of our lives can be viewed through the lens of the Human Design Gates that are currently active AKA Current Transits. And, of course, astrology is an important part of the backbone of Human Design.
We have a Full Moon in Aquarius on August 3, 2020. Because of its significance, I took a snapshot of the Current Transits at the exact time of the Full Moon on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 11:59am EST:
Current Transits and the Full Moon in Aquarius
In my post on The Leadership Axis, I spoke about Uranus the planet of Awakening. In astrological terms, Uranus = Aquarius. And, of course, the Sun is in Leo. The Sun is the ruler of Leo, which is the other half of the Leadership Axis.
Here’s where it gets very interesting. On this Full Moon, the Sun is at 11 degrees in Leo and the Moon is at 11 degrees in Aquarius!!! That’s an 11:11 Portal!!! This means that the energy of this Full Moon is here to shake us awake! And, more than shake us awake… to help us get fully present (11:11) and step into our role as awakened leaders that are here to bring about the new age of peace, love, and understanding!

It is most important to realize that the Leadership Axis and the unconscious need to be different is front and center for this Full Moon.
Human Design and The Awakened Visionary Leader
Let’s take a deeper look at the Current Transits and the impact of the Full Moon:
- Gate 33 “The Gate of Retreat” in the Sun
- Gate 19 “The Gate of Approach” in the Earth
- Gate 51 “The Gate of Arousing/Shock” in Mars
- Gate 24 “The Gate of Returning” in Uranus
- Gate 61 “The Gate of Inner Truth” in Pluto
- Channel 24-61 “The Channel of the Thinker”

First, the impact on the Leadership Axis is considerable! With the Gate of Retreat (33) in the Sun, we are asked to shine our lights through the Observer Self. From a place of retreat, we are being asked to observe and allow the truth to manifest into our experience.
Coupled with the Gate of Returning (24) in Uranus, we are being asked to use our retreat time to allow our minds to actively searching for Inner Truth (61) via Pluto’s transformational energies!! Our job is to fully allow the transformation to occur!
Then, as we embrace the Observer self, we passionately bring arousing and shock (51) in Mars to how we approach (19) the change now happening on Mother Earth. Again, bringing love, peace and understanding to all of our interactions with ourselves and others.
This is the pure embodiment of The Awakened Visionary! Leadership from Inner Truth! To balance your Mind-Body-Spirit and Emotions and lead with love, peace and understanding! To fully heal your Unconscious Needs and get fully present to be in service to others.
Can you see the power?! It’s a beautiful time to be alive, indeed.

This Full Moon is an incredible opportunity to stand in your power… to Stand Out and Shine and express your Unique Brilliance.
But while some of us are stepping into the limelight, some of us are still healing and transforming our experiences. Wherever you are, it is all divine and perfect. (Note: The Gates 24 and 61 that make-up the Channel of the Thinker will be active for many more months. And, the Universal energies will only get more intense to help us wake-up! To heal our minds and bring balance to ourselves and our Planet!)
Either way, you are here to play an important role in humanity’s awakening!
